Pts: Points
Now the question is how this points table works. When a team wins a match, it gets 2 points. According to the runs or balls left, their run rate increases or decreases. If a team wins with a high margin, it gets the advantage of a higher run rate. Its formula is
Net Run Rate = (Total Runs Scored by a Team/Total Overs faced by the team) – (Total Runs Conceded by the Team/Total Overs bowled by the Team)
For example, if Team A scores 150 runs in 20 overs and Team B concedes 120 runs in 19 overs, then the formula will be like this:
NRR = (150/20)-(120/19) = 1.18
It will help you understand the changes in the points table.

India
India is the most powerful and strongest team that has the potential to win the Asia Cup 2025. They have claimed victory in 8 tournaments so far.
India has various big-hitter openers like Abhishek Sharma with impressive partnerships. They have power-packed depth in batting with the help of all-rounders. India has also improved itself in bowling with pace and line.

Pakistan
Pakistan is one of India’s terrific rivals. The one team that can overcome India is Pakistan. India and Pakistan faced each other on 19 occasions in the Asia Cup. It includes both formats.
