ACC AGM 2025 Wraps Up in Dhaka with Major Developments for Asian Cricket
The Asian Cricket Council has successfully wrapped up the AGM meeting held in Dhaka. Bangladesh hosted an ACC meeting under the leadership of Mohsin Naqvi for the first time. Everything went well, and the meeting cleared all the uncertainties.
Mr. Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the Bangladesh Cricket Board and its president, Mr. Aminul Islam. Bangladesh arranged everything in time. The ACC president also discussed Bangladesh hosting the meeting.

All 25 members attended the AGM on 24 July in Dhaka. There was full attendance of all the boards. Mohsin started the meeting by praising Bangladesh at first. Aminul Islam was sitting with Mohsin Naqvi.
The ACC president gave the speech and discussed the spirit of the game. Everyone gave their advice on the development of cricket in Asia. Members talked about the future events and past betterments.

Budget and Schedule Approved
Asian Cricket Council discussed and approved the 2025-26 budgets. They also discussed the upcoming events’ schedule like the Asia Cup 2025. ACC held reports from all the boards about cricket development in their country.
AGM cleared all the ongoing tensions in this talk. They have likely scheduled the Asia Cup 2025 and will announce it in some days. The host and venues are liley discussed and confirmed. According to reports, UAE has been finalized as host with Dubai and Abu Dhabi will be the venues.
Cricket Added to Asian Games 2026
In a major announcement, Cricket has been added to the Asia Games 2026. Ten men’s and eight women’s teams will participate in the Asian Games in Japan. These teams will qualify following some conditions.
This initiative will promote cricket in the Asian Games and countries like Japan, China, etc. This inclusion is a significant step in expanding the sport’s presence at the international level of multi-sport. Let’s be ready to see the India vs Pakistan rivalry in the Asian Games 2026.
ACC Welcomes Three New Members
ACC added three new members in the Asian Cricket council and Asian Games. Mohsin proposed this to add new members to make Asian Crciket more vast than before. Everyone accepted it with complete consent.
Mongolia, Uzbekistan, and the Philippines are the new members of the ACC. They welcomed the new members at the AGM meeting. This inclusion can lead the Asian cricket team to a new level.
